Utah County Rain: Packed Gutters Can Mean Uncovered Damage
The forecast cone for Tropical Storm Rachel’s remnants ran right through Utah, and packed gutters spill rain behind your fascia and into your walls. I used to work in restoration, and I’ve seen water damage run tens of thousands of dollars, even hundreds of thousands. Many policies don’t cover it, especially mold or wood rot, and insurers can say a homeowner should have known. I would rather clear your gutters first so you never have to fight for coverage. Check your own policy for what it covers. Serving Salem, Spanish Fork, Lehi, Saratoga Springs, Eagle Mountain, American Fork, and all of Utah County.
